Ingredients:
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat around 375F or 190C
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor penetration
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub
Rub the dry rub generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring even coverage
Place the ribs on the preheated grill, bone side down, and cook for 1
5 to 2 hours, using indirect heat
Maintain a consistent temperature throughout the cooking process
In a separate bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar to create the glaze
During the last 30 minutes of cooking, baste the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes, building up a flavorful coating
Once the ribs are tender and have a caramelized glaze, remove them from the grill
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing between the bones
Serve the glazed baby back ribs hot, and enjoy the sweet and savory goodness!
