Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, for drizzling
- Fresh holly berries, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and chopped nuts
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer them to wire racks to cool completely
Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth
Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cooled cookies
Garnish each cookie with a fresh holly berry for a festive touch
Allow the white chocolate to set before serving or packaging the cookies
