Ingredients:
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls, split
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions:
Put 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat
Put the steak slices in the pan and cook for three to four minutes, until they turn brown
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
Put one more tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same pan
Add the onions and bell pepper slices to the pan
Season with salt and pepper
Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft
Add the cooked steak back to the pan and stir it in with the onions and peppers
Warm the oven up so it can broil
Lay the hoagie rolls out on a baking sheet so that the open side faces up
Put the bread under the broiler for one minute, or until it gets a little brown
Give each hoagie roll an equal amount of the steak mixture
Add two slices of provolone cheese to the top of each sandwich
After taking the sandwiches out of the oven, broil them for one to two minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles
Enjoy while hot!
