Vegan Maple Glazed Buttermilk Doughnuts



These vegan maple-glazed buttermilk donuts are light, fluffy, and full of sweet maple flavor. They're great for a sweet treat any time of day!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 175F 350C

Grease a pan for doughnuts

Lemon juice and almond milk should be mixed in a bowl

Take a break and let it sit for five minutes

To the almond milk mix, add maple syrup, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract

Mix well

Add the salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour

Mix it up until it's just right

Fill up each doughnut hole about two thirds of the way to the top with batter after the pan is ready

Put it in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

Once done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes in the pan

Then, move it to a wire rack to cool completely

Powdered sugar, almond milk, and maple syrup should be mixed together until the glaze is smooth

Let the extra glaze drip off of each doughnut after it has cooled

Put it back on the wire rack to set

Serve and have fun!
